100% the best chippy in Cas and surrounding area by far. The fish... perfectly cooked, so fresh and moist, fished from Norway. The chips were so soft and cooked to absolute perfection! Most of all... people... please ask for their large fish... my god... it's massive, I'd say twice the size as Captain's basic portion that they make in Ponte (was my number 1 before I found this place) and guess what... it's only a quid more! Bloody brilliant! Honestly, you could feed 3 people from just that one portion! Honestly... you've got to try this place if you haven't. And the folks running it... what truly wonderful people. Full of such pride and passion about their business. Please folks, consider giving them your custom. You honestly won't be disappointed. Just ask for the large! It's AMAZING!!

Exceptional quality Fish and Chips, expertly fried by the main man Raz! The jumbo is a must have, soft white Norwegian Fish in a gorgeous light batter. These are without a doubt the best fish and chips I have ever tasted! The customer service by Raz and his team is also always welcoming and nothing is too much trouble!

Absolutely the best Fish and chips ever. Anybody who appreciates quality food MUST visit Vickers street Fisheries. The fish was as white as snow and the batter was the lightest crispiest I have experienced. The gravy I must add, is next level.! Worth the journey from Howden.

First time visit today, with not being a local I was recommended to go here by a work friend, fish and chips for £7:50!!!! Is up there with the best I have ever had. Not sure if it's cooked in beef dripping or what but perfectly cooked chips and the batter was perfect.
